Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Health Equity in a Post-Covid Era: Pathways for Advocacy, Leadership, and Research

CSUEB Pre-Med APAMSA is sharing this upcoming conference we received from National:

This one-day conference focuses on Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) health equity and physician leadership post-COVID. AANHPI leaders came to the forefront during the pandemic, but what does the future hold for these providers and their availability to improve population health?  With a public health equity lens, we'll address the caricature of Asian Americans in medicine today, the perspectives and expertise of NHPI physicians and community leaders (and where they believe Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and Asian Americans most effectively partner and collaborate on issues of health policy), and AANHPI provider pathways to change-making leadership.

Sponsored by the National Council of Asian Pacific Islander Physicians (NCAPIP) and the Asian American Research Center (AARC)

Co-sponsored by Berkeley Public Health
