Fall 2021 Events to be Held Remotely
As a pre-health chapter of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA), we are focused on the health and welfare of the community at large.
At the time of this post, although CSUEB has allowed in-person events and meetings for student organizations, CSUEB Pre-Med APAMSA elected to have all events be held remotely for this Fall 2021 Semester.
Our decision is due to the following factors:
Community Transmission within the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding counties remain at a Substantial or High level.

The proximity of winter, seasonal influenza period with current case rates.
A majority of CSUEB classes are still being held remotely for Fall 2021.
A majority of students have not returned to the San Francisco Bay Area due to remote learning being an option.
We believe that this is the best decision to safeguard our members’ and community health, by mitigating risks associated with in-person gatherings.
